Here some impressions of ECCO Leather’s dream factory at the Bread & Butter fair in Tempelhof. A leather heaven where some lucky visitors were able to create their own dream bag and have it evolve in front of them. I was able to watch the process of my bright green clutch evolve infront of me; from cutting by Leather Designer Anke and Makis, stitching by Paula and then Pauline adding the press studs. Panos, the CEO of ECCO Leather always in the middle of it doing his magic. Also part of the Open Circle Lab: creative collaborators Marisa and Callum from Method Studio. Progressive Leather craftsmanship at an arms length!

One of my favourite shows during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin was again Vladimir Karaleev. For SS15 Vladimir plays with a sport luxe feel, crafted elements and juxtaposition of proportions all executed in a beautiful and fresh colour palette of Burgundy, Pinks, hints of neon Orange and Yellow. The outdoor setting in the beautiful garden of the Kronprinzenpalais was just perfect on a hot summer Berlin evening too. Congratulations Vladimir!

During this years ‘Start Your Fashion Business’ award at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin, last years winner Bobby Kolade also showed his most recent collection. Here some photographs from his inspired, beautiful cut and just lovely show. Congratulations Bobby for constantly evolving and staying true to yourself and also to Tim Labenda who won this years award!
