This week was Clerkenwell Design Week in London. A great event to see new Design, contemporary furniture, lighting and accessories. I had a good browse through the Farmiloe building and here you see what caught my eye.

Brands to watch: WorkHouse and its collection of furniture, tiles and lighting with an honest, raw and contemporary edge. Duffy London and its UP coffee table giving the impression of a glass table being suspended by balloons. Viccarbe and its 70’s inspired Maarten chair by Victor Carrasco and the clever folded Origami inspired Aperture lamps distributed by Luminosity. Yet my favourite the “This is not Bauhaus” lamps by Servomuto in collaboration with LEITMOTIV who provided the fabric for the creation of the lampshades. Bauhaus’ pure geometrics and baroque’s excess of decoration find an unusual match full of contrast.
