At Work…Kyotoshi Shimogyo Fire Station, Kyoto

On our last day in Kyoto we walked passed this fire station and the fireman were in the middle of a emergency test run. Everyone was dressed in full protection gear and they were practising to get out of the car and get ready on time. Anyhow, I couldn’t resist to ask if I can take a photograph and everyone was watching while I was at work. When I was about to leave, the head of the department wanted to give me the fireman as a gift. Guess it was the: “You look beautiful”….;)
